About Little Ears

Jim has over a decade of experience as an OB Sound Assistant & PSC Recordist, regularly working for all of the major British networks and many independent film and production companies.

His wide ranging experiences of PSC, Live and OB work has seen him involved with most genres of television working on countless programmes, from Nelson Mandellas 90th birthday celebrations, to being ‘scrubbed up’ from the many operations filmed for the BBC’s live daily programme City hospital.
His calm methodical attitude and great experience make Jim an important asset to any production. He enjoys the challenges that TV and film can often bring and always has an innovative approach to any problems that may arise.

When not working James can be found at home in Hampshire with his wife and 3 children or on the nearest lake trying to master the world of wakeboarding!
James started his career after studying Media Technology BSc at Southampton Institute.
